Rental Regulations / WI Boating Laws
Applies to motorized watercraft only.
Anyone driving / operating the watercraft MUST:
Be 18 years of age with valid I.D.
Sign rental agreement at time of rental.
Sign off on Wisconsin State Boating Laws Instruction sheet at dock.
Be instructed on operation of rental watercraft by Watersports staff.

Receive and wear a wristband so you are identified as having gone thru the mandatory safety procedures.
ANY UNAUTHORIZED USE OF RENTAL WATERCRAFT WILL RESULT IN LOSS OF RENTAL TIME AND POSSIBLE CITATION.
All motorized rental operators born after January 1, 1989 (approximately 28 and younger) must have boater safety certification.
Temporary boater safety certification is available upon completion of a short test at all Watersports locations. The test cost is $10 and takes about 10 minutes to complete. Temporary boater safety certificates are valid for 1 year. Must get 75% correct or better to pass test.
Persons born before January 1, 1989 do not need boater safety certification.
Rental / Reservation Policies
72 hour notice required for cancelations or boat may be charged in full.
Renters may be charged a cleaning fee if applicable.
If inclement weather persists the day of rental due to rain or high winds, you can cancel that morning and we will refund balance with the exception of a $25 reservation fee will be retained. We will also do our best to reschedule for another day if possible.
Phone in reservations cancellation polices:
Any rental cancellations prior to 72 hours of rental time will receive half the deposit back in the amount of $25.
Online Reservations cancellation policies:
72 hour notice required for cancellation and will receive full refund for online reservations.
